A daily need
for laying hens.
Hens use calcium to form eggshells. Alongside a complete layer diet, a separate coarse calcium source can help give the flock access to what it needs as eggs are formed.
We plan to turn recovered Bahamian conch shell into a dependable local calcium input for poultry keepers, farms and feed suppliers. That is one practical piece of a stronger egg supply chain at home.
